Evgenia Fölsche was born in Kaluga, Russia. She is an exceptional young pianist, whose talent was recognised at an early stage and since then, has been completely encouraged. She started to play the piano at the age of 5 and within a year, she was already performing at concerts.
At a very young age, she won several first prizes in piano and chamber music competitions. She was a prize winner at the international T. Nikolaeva Competition for Young Pianists, the 1st All-Russian Open Competition "New Names" and the International Taneyev Chamber Music Competition playing in a piano duet and at many other competitions.
She received grants from the International Charitable Foundation "New Names" and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. She has participated regularly at the Summer Music Festival "New Names in Russia". During this time, she attended master classes held by well-known musicians such as V. Kastelskii, T.Gaidamowitsch, A.Bondurjanskij and N. Schtarkmann. She completed her studies at the Russian Gnessin Music Academy in Moscow with honours. She has played on the stages of the largest concert halls in Moscow.
In order to gain more international experiences, Evgenia Fölsche began master classes held by Professors Igor lazko and Peter Eicher. At the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, she studied as a répétiteur under Professor Eugen Wangler and attended master classes held by Professor Lev Natochenny. She has played at international music festivals in Germany and in the USA and, as a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie (German Philharmonic Youth Orchestra), she has toured in Germany and Italy.
