Art Song / Lied
Nacht und Träume
A Lied programme about night, dreams, longing, and inner images. At its centre are poetic sound worlds in which Romantic sensibility, subtle nuances, and the special intimacy of the Lied come together.
Die schöne Müllerin
Franz Schubert’s famous song cycle tells of love, hope, jealousy, and despair — a multi-layered work between folk-song simplicity and psychological refinement.
Winterreise
Winterreise is one of the most haunting works of the Romantic era. Schubert’s cycle leads into an inner landscape of loneliness, memory, and existential searching.
Schwanengesang
Under the title Schwanengesang, Schubert’s late songs of exceptional expressive density are brought together. The programme combines poetic variety with musical radicalism and a wide emotional range.
Dichterliebe
A Lied programme about love, longing, and farewell: Robert Schumann’s Dichterliebe is complemented by Beethoven’s An die ferne Geliebte and Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen. Three very different musical perspectives enter into a fascinating dialogue.
Italienisches Liederbuch
Hugo Wolf’s Italienisches Liederbuch unfolds a world full of wit, passion, tenderness, and subtle irony. The short songs combine the highest linguistic precision with musical refinement and a lively dialogue between voice and piano.

Children’s Programmes
Der Nussknacker
A children’s programme based on Tchaikovsky’s famous ballet, narrated with speaker and music for two pianos. The well-known story is presented vividly, imaginatively, and with a rich variety of sound colours for young audiences.
Dornröschen
A fairy-tale children’s programme based on the ballet Dornröschen, with narrator and music for piano four hands. Storytelling and music combine to create an imaginative introduction to the world of classical ballet.
